Apples of Gold is a collection of my poetry, lyrics, and essays that was originally published in 1992 by a small publishing house on Long Island. For the Tenth Anniversary Edition of the book, I went back and added a writer's commentary to each of the works in the book, as well as some new essays to round it out. The book was published again as a Tenth Anniversary Edition early in 2002 as a limited edition. The book is now out of print, so I'm publishing some of it here.
Included on this web site is the original introduction to Apples of Gold, as well as the new introduction for the Tenth
Anniversary Edition. I've posted selected works from the book here for you to read, both poems and essays.
I hope you enjoy them.
“A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold, in settings of silver”
